Kick off !!!! 2nd & 3rd October 2010!New Zealand's longest running Soccer Festival - celebrating 9 years.Gower Park, Melville This is a great day with cultural performances, food and craft stalls.Open to both Male and Female teams from throughout New Zealand.Interested in registering your team, performing, or having a stall? The team with the best supporters will recieve free registration to next years festival. Supporters will be judged on numbers, vocal, action, banners and props, and of course, team spirit. Get behind your team, start organising support now!The Korean team recieved free entry to this years festival as they had the best supporters last in 2009 with drums, songs, games for children, food, water and massages for the team, and big smiles! Cultural performancesThis is a great place to show off your cultural heritage and get involved in the festival. A koha will be given as a token of appreciation. Cultural Performance registration form availiable hereEthnic Food Stall Do you know anybody with a business specialising in ethnic food? Are they looking for a new market, or a place to promote themselves? Are they interested in getting involved in the community? We are looking for restaurants, cafes, and other food providers specialising in ethnic foods to set up stalls at the Festival. We would especially love to support new or small businesses. If your community group is interested in setting up an ethnic food stall, please talk to us and we will assist you in obtaining a food stall permit and information regarding food and safety regulations.
