Settlement Support New Zealand Settlement Support New Zealand consists of 19 local Settlement Support initiatives around New Zealand, to help newcomers get in touch with the local information and services they need to support their settlement. What happens locally?Settlement Network The local Settlement Network (Hamilton New Settlers Group) Government agencies and community groups jointly focus on planning for local settlement needs. There are a number of groups and networks working collaboratively in the sector to identify and respond to settlement. Local Co-ordination A settlement Support co-ordinator is located at the Waikato Migrant Resource centre to ensure newcomers can locate information in a variety of ways.
