A free of charge Workshop for refugee parents living in Hamilton who have
0-5yr old children. Learn how to parent positively by using both your
traditional and New Zealand ways of raising your children.
• Are you struggling with raising children in your traditional way in a new
country?
• Do you want to learn how to communicate, discipline your children without
getting in trouble with New Zealand laws?
• Do you want join a group of parents who meet each month to learn and share
experiences about positive parenting?
Please come along and learn how to find a way of parenting in New Zealand that
saves your cultural values and teaches them to your children, without getting in
trouble with the law or having your child taken away from you.

Join other volunteers in the Arbor Day 2012 – The Big Dig In at the Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park on Friday 1st June 10am
(opposite Hamilton zoo)
If you register and we get enough numbers by Friday 25th May, a bus coming from the Migrant Centre
can be organized by City Council.
All you need to bring is a water bottle, spade (if you have one), lunch or a gold coin for sausage sizzle.
