The Waikato Migrant Resource Centre functions as a city community centre with a range of educational programs and services for all ages and families - with a focus on migrant and ethnic communities. The Waikato Migrant Resource Centre is a warm and welcoming place for adults including multicultural members of the community with a variety of programs, groups, support services and activities to choose from. There are also numerous rewarding volunteer opportunities available at the centre. Adults are welcome to participate in evening and weekend programmes - as available and by invitation.

It is the mandate of the Waikato Migrant Resource Centre to facilitate active community opportunities and provide services and information to respond to needs of migrant and ethnic people and the wider community.
